Parental indulgences
I know it's self-serving to teach my toddlers to say "I love you," but I just couldn't resist.
Chatterheads
Annie and Ivan (especially Ivan) are now speaking in full sentences and telling us all sorts of funny things. Today Annie told us, "Bunny go work, close!" I found her stuffed bunny sitting in Steve's desk chair, in the office, with the door closed. Sometimes she says, "Annie go work. Bye-bye!" Then she runs to the office and sits at the desk.
Ivan, meanwhile, loves to sing the happy birthday song ("happy bird-day tsu SUUUUUE!") and asks "Where'd mommy go?" when he can't find me. When he wants us to assemble the toy train track, he says, "Help please." When I get them ready for bath, he says, "Annie Ivan NAKED!"
This video gives a little flavor of the twin silliness that goes on around here.
